Memorial Day is over and we can now get back to work on running our businesses. Even the northern states had some warmer weather for a change. Hopefully, your spring orders have been good.  We at UDS have been busy working on many projects. See the project list of new features and functions soon to be sent your way. UDS Active Projects for 2007/2008

Testing .Net and Visual Studio 2008 Programming: We are writing and will soon implement new .Net concepts for our web sites on the www.IDOPlants.com site. Check out the new format that we will apply to www.udsgis.com. Send your comments to support@udsgis.com. We appreciate it.

www.udsgis.com is being chagned in a big, big way that will result in new sites and extensive videos of your AA system. This project will replace the existing help plays at least in AA – SQL.

Change the uds.exe  in AA – SQL to limit the records processed during the initial startup. This project will be done outside the .Net development that will be coming in the next few years.

Rewriting of our web sites www.udsgis.com, www.aasql.com, www.aastandard.com, and www.aatags.com, to put more fizz into our marketing effort. Take a look at any of these or better yet at our test site www.IDOPlants.com.

Added E-Commerce interface to Active Accounting to allow pushing out catalog information to an E-Commerce store and retrieving the orders placed from the store.

Website rewrite AASqlsupport.com.

Changing the current Repetitive Billing routine to match the Job Scheduling routine and tying it into the Automatic Invoicing procedures.

Added Payroll Direct Deposit and bank interface to the payroll system. Part of the changes supply routines for creating output files that can be imported by the bank systems. This is ready for you!

Purge/Archive program for AA SQL to offload old historical data to another database and/or just purge it from the current working database to speed up some of the view screens and reduce the work the SQL Server is required to do.

Rewrite of the TAGmaker Deluxe.  Increase functions and make the program less cumbersome to use.

Enhance Link between support desk and Outlook. Add a ribbon so UDS support desk records can result from customer emails. This will further integrate AA and Office. Cool Stuff!

Support System Notes

It is reminder time on how to properly get support. If you have a support item SEND IT TO support@udsgis.com. Do NOT use Jeff's or Brian's personal email boxes. We respond to our personal Emails but at a much lower priority than support. The same goes for sales calls. When calling support use Extension 201. That is the only way to be assured your message gets to support. There is always someone available on support. Our personal phone messages are monitored when we can.

We appreciate your calls and want to make sure your question is answered in the most efficient way possible. Sending personal phone or email messages will almost always result in slower response. Do it quick contact support.
